Ports
Three Ethernet Ports - Gigabit (x2), 10/100 (x1)
One OpenMicroServer™ is enough to create a DMZ.
Ports can be configured for separate purposes such as sending, receiving, and administration.
2 USB 2.0 Ports
The USB ports can be used to connect a wide range of devices to the server, especially
thumb drives and external harddisks. Since the BIOS can boot from these devices, it is
possible to run the server on an alternate OS without overwriting the ROM.
Two RJ-45 Serial Ports
This gives you the convenience to use one port for a serial console, for development
or administration, while using a modem or similar device on the other serial port.
8-bit DIO (4 Input + 4 Output)
The unit comes with DIO, the gateway to the digital world for special devices that
do not have general communication ports or applications that require the development
of dedicated interfaces.
